HyperX QuadCast 2 S - USB Microphone

Swapped out my old desk mic for this and the four polar patterns actually made a difference for recording two people at one table. The tap-to-mute on top is stupidly convenient, I just smack it when the dog starts barking.

Ran it through a condenser mic comparison with my old setup and the voice pickup is noticeably cleaner with less room echo. Switching between cardioid and omni for group recordings is a nice bonus I didn't expect to use this much.

The tap-to-mute sensor on top is way more convenient than fumbling for a button mid-sentence. I record in a noisy room and switching to the cardioid pattern cut the background hum noticeably.
